Cockermouth offers a wide choice of places to eat and drink for all tastes, including the Quince and Medlar vegetarian restaurant which is opposite the guest house itself. There are also a number of excellent tourist attractions such as the Jennings Brewery and Wordsworth House, both a short walk from Six Castlegate.
We are between two art galleries, Percy House and Castlegate House, and minutes away from the Kirkgate centre which is a venue for music and theatre. We are an excellent base to visit the northern Lakes and the Solway coast.
